Why we built it
We believe strong security should be simple, accessible, and free. All generation happens locally in your browser whenever possible so your sensitive data stays private.
What's included
PasswordGinie bundles four tools behind one interface: a password generator with adjustable length and character sets, a strength checker that estimates entropy and crack time for any password you paste in, a passphrase generator for memorable word-based passphrases, and a username generatorfor picking a handle that isn't reused across every site you sign up for.
How it stays private
There are no user accounts and no database. Password generation runs with your browser's built-in cryptographically secure random number generator, and nothing you type into the strength checker is transmitted or logged — it's analysed in the page itself, not on a server.
